The stone does much of the talking. A dramatic quartzite worktop, veined in soft greys and honey tones, wraps up into a matching splashback and even glows gently when backlit, turning the island into a real centrepiece. Against it, the warm oak cabinetry brings texture and calm, its slim bronze handles adding just enough definition. An aged brass tap over the marble sink completes the sophisticated feel.
